「不要問我怎麼治療你，應該問你自己還有幾天好活！」一名肝硬化的患者特地到南部找名醫，進了診間，才問起治療方式，居然就被醫師當場嗆聲。專家指出，依當前的醫病關係，想問醫師問題，最好有先抱著碰釘子的心理準備。

醫療改革基金會董事長張苙雲也吃過虧，到診所看病，請醫師把藥袋裡的每一顆藥註明清楚，醫師先是不客氣的說，「那是英文的，你看不懂！」，心不甘情不願的寫好後，竟然又補了一句「你下次不要再來找我看病」。

張苙雲說，儘管現今醫療環境很難改變，但是「5%、5%的進步也好」，因此她贊成ucareicare網站的構想。若病人問十個問題，醫師能答三個就「賺到了」，應該勇於去問。

長庚醫院副院長黃燦龍也說，病人有權利問，醫師也有責任回答。不過他也不諱言，醫院裡常有患者投訴，有「雷公型」醫師，三兩句就把病人罵哭，甚至只要一聽到病房裡大小聲，就知道又是他跟病人吵架，不過可能名氣大，還是有患者願意繼續排隊就醫。

黃燦龍說，患者心態也要調整，名醫不等於良醫，不願意跟患者溝通，就應該主動換醫師。張苙雲也建議，很多醫師確實很忙，患者一緊張，常常支支吾吾，不如事先把問題寫下來，避免丟三落四或是重複提問，幫助自己掌握病情。
